Alberto J. Arias is a world-renowned freelance dancer and choreographer from Chicago. He has established himself as a Chicago favorite by performing for companies such as Joseph Holmes Dance Theatre, River North Dance Chicago and was a principal dancer for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and has served as the former Ballet Master and Rehearsal Director for Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. He has worked with numerous choreographers including Margo Sappington, Twyla Tharp, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, Lou Conte, James Kadalka, Gwen Vernan, and Christopher Chadman. Alberto received a Ruth Page nomination for Outstanding Dancer and was voted Best Dancer 1992 by Chicago Dance Magazine. He was Assistant to David Bell in his rendition of the musical Fame and Choreographer for Michael Weber’s A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To the Forum and Assistant Choreographer to Randy Duncan in several works for the Joffrey Ballet and Dance For Life. Mr. Arias has also assisted international choreographer Daniel Ezralow in Why Be Extraordinary When You Can Be Yourself in the Italian regions of Bergamo, Milan, Rome. Alberto appeared as a Principle dancer in the movie Just Visiting with Christina Applegate and coached Keanu Reeves in the movie The Watcher. He has choreographed over 50 winning talents in the Continental system, Miss Gay America, USofA, Entertainer of the year F.I., All American Goddess and many other systems. He currently won overall talent in Miss Gay America 2 years in a row. His passion is directing choreographing and productions of talents. He loves to help his clients make their talents and ideas come to life and continues to strive for excellence.
Meet AJA Talent's Assistant Choreographer/Rehearsal Manager Ethan Kirschbaum. He has been a member of our team since 2011 has helped crown three Miss Continentals, a Mr. Continental, a Miss Continental Plus, a Miss Continental Elite, an All American Goddess, two Miss Gay America’s, and a Mr. Gay USofA.
Ethan Kirschbaum, originally from Oakland, CA, graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors in dance performance from the Ailey School/Fordham University in New York City. While in his junior year of college, Ethan joined Hubbard Street 2, dancing and teaching workshops around the globe while concurrently finishing his degree. He has performed with the Santa Fe Opera, as a principal dancer with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and danced internationally in Canada, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Israel, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, and Russia. In 2011 Ethan moved to Saarbrücken, Germany to dance with Donlon Dance Company at the Saarländisches Staatstheater under the direction of Marguerite Donlon. He is currently on faculty at the Lou Conte Dance Studio as well as the Joffrey Academy and after completing five seasons with River North Dance Chicago, Ethan is thrilled to be a part of the AJA Talent Team as Assistant Choreographer/Rehearsal Manager and loves helping every client actualize their vision!
